Have these communication technologies (mobiles and the Internet) influenced your life and how

The answer to the first part of this question is comparatively easy; mobiles and the Internet have influenced me. From my point of view, the mentioned communication technologies affect almost everybody. You may disagree with me and point out, that for instance people from the "Third World" canīt imagine anything if you say "Internet". Well, thatīs true. Nevertheless, even these are influenced by it. Since all the t ycoons, who operate their lives, use these technologies.

Fortunately, I live in Europe, where the situation is completely different. We can talk about, letīs say, "a direct influence" of the Internet and mobile phones.

What do they mean to me ?

To begin with, I must claim, my attitude towards the mobile phones has utterly changed. A few years ago I disapproved of using them. I considered them for a "matter of fashion". Also nowadays I smile if I hear three mobiles ringing while sitting on a bus. However, I have nothing against owning one. For I know its advantages. I presume, mobile phones contribute to a better communication undoubtedly. In addition, they support people to be closer. Although I possess no mobile phone, I take advantage of this modern gadget.

As far as the Internet is concerned, I appreciate the "e-mail", so called electronic mail, above all. It means the easiest way how to contact my friends. The most significant pro is the speed. The person, who I send a message to, can receive it only a minute later. As well as I could get his reply after a while. Furthermore, I can communicate even with people remote miles away and I get under impression that Iīm with them. By the way, I know, that the Internet comprises a great deal of information concerning nearly everything you can wonder about.

To sum up, modern communication technologies affect me in a positive way. They give me an opportunity to communicate better and consequently make my life easier. In my opinion, itīs their advantage generally. Moreover, I predict their further developement. In other words, they will hold more importance for everybody in future.
